The New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) must be heading to Saratoga Race Course for the Travers on Saturday with the early release of official weekly mobile New York sports betting figures for the week ending Aug. 20 Thursday morning.
Total mobile handle posted more than $233.69 million, a nice $9.94 million increase from the week before ($223.75 million), with four of the eight operators seeing increases as well (FanDuel, DraftKings, Resorts World Bet, BetRivers).
The stateās total Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) came in at $21.57 million, a small increase of $243,210 from the state's last report ($21.32 million).
Tax collected by Albany: $11,001,244, an increase of $124,037 from $10.87 million a week ago.
Since the launch of mobile betting, the state has generated more than $27 billion in handle, more than $2.355 billion in GGR and $1.201 billion in taxes.

DraftKings Retakes Weekly Top Spot
DraftKings had a solid bounce-back week, posting more than $89.30 million in total mobile handle, a significant $13.41 million increase from the week before ($75.89 million). DraftKingsā total GGR posted over $7.28 million, a bump of $441,842.
Last week's leader, FanDuel NY, had a mild increase in handle of $247,991 to $87.68 million.
BallyBet is in its eighth week of transitioning to a new platform and was once again not part of the weekly report.
Six of the eight New York sports betting apps went up in weekly total GGR, the exceptions being FanDuel and Resorts World Bet.
