The Empire State enjoyed a bounce-back week in mobile New York sports betting handle - led by BetMGM NY surpassing $2 billion in cumulative handle, the fourth operator to do so since the state launched in January 2022.
New York generated more than $238.04 million in total mobile handle for the week ending July 9 as official weekly figures were released by the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) Thursday afternoon.
The amount was a $19.76 million boost from the previous week ($218.26 million) and the seventh consecutive week the handle figure has not gone above $300 million.
More than $22.77 million was generated in total Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), a mild $3.19 million decrease from a week ago ($25.96 million).
Weekly tax collected by Albany: $11.62 million.
Since the launch of New York betting apps, the state has generated more than $25.609 billion in mobile handle, more than $2.2 billion in mobile GGR and $1.122 billion in taxes.

FanDuel Retains Lead Over DraftKings
Seven of the eight mobile providers (BallyBet is still transitioning to a new platform) increased in weekly handle. BetRivers NY jumped in handle and GGR. Resorts World New York had an increase in GGR but dropped a tick in handle.
FanDuel posted $94.67 million after $88.09 million was generated the week before.
DraftKings generated $81.83 million, $8 million more than the previous week ($73.83 million).
